An apology

I'm sorry for the hurt I've caused, and the pain I have brought. To finish what's begun was my intent but I failed to see the cost.

I thought I was doing right, and forging down the path. But in my haste and blinded sight, I brought about wrath.

I should have stopped and taken pause and thought things through with care. I know I was in the wrong and now my heart's laid bare.

I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. To finish what's begun was my intent, but I realize now, it was a foolish bent.

Please know that I am truly sorry, and I'll work to make things right. To finish what's begun with care and love, and bring about a brighter light.
